Believe it or not, it changes the feel of the vehicle as I look over the hood. The original looks like absolute trash. Factory just looks cheap. It's amazing how such a small thing can make such a difference. Have had it for 12 years now. The black dye has faded to a light silver. It looks just as good as when it was new. Its the easiest way to improve the looks of a jeep.
